The Experience Design Group at Ogilvy in New York City held an Immersion Day for college students to get a little taste of the UX/UI world. The day started with a panel discussion lead by impressive experience designers, writers and researchers. The day was followed by two breakout sessions where we broke off into groups of our choosing focused on different UX positions at Ogilvy. I personally attended the UX design break off group and the creative technology group for the second session. Interview and resume tips were fed to us on a relatable level and the attendees got the chance to have their questions answered with multiple Q and A’s during the later half of the event. Overall, captivating advice, free lunch and an unforgettable experience would rate 10/10.
